Uniform

The wearing of school uniform is a key significant feature of our Academy and our uniform code is strongly enforced. School uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of a school and setting an appropriate tone.

In accepting a place at Oak Hill Academy, parents and pupils agree to support this aspect of our school philosophy.

Our Uniform Policy sets out our approach to requiring a uniform that is of reasonable cost and offers the best value for money for parents and carers. We avoid discrimination in line with our legal duties under the Equality Act 2010.

Our uniform is not based on gender and we give all pupils the opportunity to wear the uniform that they feel most comfortable in or that reflects their self-identified gender.

We allow for adaptions’ to our policy on the grounds of equality by asking pupils or their parents to get in touch with us.

Please note Oak Hill branded uniform will still be available to purchase from School Bells until their stock levels have depreciated. Oak Hill branded uniform can still be worn for the Academic Year 2022 / 2023 but will be phased out from September 2023.
