Re: Arrangements for Polling Day 23rd May 2019

Dear Parents/Carers,
Re: Arrangements for Polling Day 23rd May 2019
We have been informed that we are to be used as a Polling Station for Elections on the 23rd of May 2019. I am pleased to say that we are able to keep the school open to pupils on that day, however, the dining hall will be used as the station, and therefore, no hot meals will be served.
All children will need to bring in a packed lunch on Thursday 23rd May. If your child is entitled to free school meals, please return the slip below to request that the school provides a packed lunch. If you do not return the slip by the 15th May 2019, we will take it that you will be providing your child’s packed lunch and do not need a school one.
In order for the school to remain open on this day, the following arrangements are in place:
There will be no access to the school from our pedestrian gate by the zebra crossing. If entering from the Ashford Road side, please use the ramp to enter the playground through the gate on the far left of the school building (near the Site Manager’s house).
All children will require a packed lunch as detailed above.
Acorn’s to Oaks will operate as normal. Drop off for Breakfast Club and collection from After School Club will be via the Main School Reception.
Thank you for your co-operation and I do apologise for any inconvenience but this is the only way that we could ensure the school remains open as normal on this day.
Kind regards,
Mrs R Thomson
